Is this actual a legal maneuver available to YC? This seems risky. Why not help fund the women's arbitration fees instead?

Fun Fact: Symantec sold certificates to Blue Coat all the way back in May 2016 and have been using them in their SSL inspection tool ever since

Symantec owns Blue Coat though?

This kind of "news" article does a disservice to those in need of mental health care by perpetuating the idea that certain well studied medications are ultra dangerous when in reality they are effective when administered properly.

What kills more people than both things combined? Not seeking help when needed

What proof do you have that doing nothing kills more people?

Most psychiatric medication has a black label warning that it can cause suicidal thoughts and in many cases people taking or withdrawing from these drugs do kill themselves.

Your comment is based on data promoted by pharmaceutical companies' marketing departments and front group that somehow there is a crisis due to lack of mental health care.

The real crisis is the over prescription of psychotropic medication, when there is no physical test to diagnose any "illness" it's supposed to cure, hence the diagnosis is left to a "checklist of symptoms" voted into existence by committee (the DSM manual).

A "Globalist" is someone or some entity that seeks to take advantage deregulation and the liberalization of financial activities. Essentially capital flow moves where the profit margins are maximized with no regard for the nation state

Isn't that privatization (at global scale)?

And the campaign against encryption Comey talked about last fall has begun. If the United States wants to maintain economic dominance over IT sector globally we must defend our data

What makes you think that legislative bodies are capable of catching up?

Plus it has an advantage of having a half-life of ~521 years unlike tape storage

Yes, DNA is extremely long-living!

The way they reacted to Snowden brought this upon themselves . Requiring every cyber "warrior" to have a TS//SCI clearance at a minimum rules out 90% of the black/grey hat hackers is absurd

The TS/SCI is one thing but intelligence agencies also sit on polygraphs. I know of people who had full scope polygraph's which were not adjudicated for 2.5 years. Those people gave up and went elsewhere.

This tool is simply testing whether or not the file has a disturbance vector that makes it a potential file with higher than usual probability to be in a collision
