Michael Burry is extremely bearish on their business model and has written excellent pieces on why he is shorting Palantir.

The valuation is obviously insane. You can't have that kind of P/E ratios.

Same thing with Tesla.

I don't get it either man.

Still have >$300 billion market cap on <$5 billion annual revenues. This is AFTER falling 30% since December.

Burry is probably right, but he forgets that Thiel is friends with Trump, so the merits of business don't matter for Palantir to secure lucrative government contracts.

But is Trump really going to give Palantir a contract allowing Palantir to make 10-15 billion per annum and hand that out to shareholders? That's what's required to get the P/E ratio to 15.

Having things make sense with PE ratios is no longer a requirement. What is Tesla's again?

That's true for a while, but never for ever. But the market is unlikely to be irrational forever.

I am trying hard to have strong feelings about it, but I just can’t bother. The only thing constant is change.

What I do know for a fact, is that for each error I have on my MacBook, I’ll have ~10 ungoogable errors on any other OS. I rage-sold my last Windows due to losing my Java installation (or just confusing which terminal I installed it in).

Please, crop all thumbnails in the corners, as long as you come pre-installed with just one working terminal.

If you ever attempt to compile software, the shoe instantly hits the other foot. WSL is a godsend, and Apple's "native" terminal environment becomes a confusing liability.

Catering to different audiences, I suppose.

Reminds of why I sold my Windows. One day I just had enough of things breaking in all the colors of the rainbow.

For every problem I have on my macOS, some poor Windows user have experienced 50 non-Googleable errors. I do like Powershell though.

Nothing an ad carousel full of AI-slop, embedded in the OS won’t fix

Kudos to you. I never use new buttons out of fear of something irreversible happening, like sending a random email or deleting something. I still feel uncomfortable with the Gmail UX, I would _never_ use a ”hello iz magic ai”-button.

I am trying Qwen Image Edit for turning day photos into night, mostly architecture etc. Most models are struggling, and Nano Banana misses edges and stuff, making the pictures align poorly.

Thank you for noticing. What on EARTH was that abomination?
