I'll take the open street any day. Zombie pedestrians, head down in phone, step off the curb and into the protected lane thinking that they can get 1/5 of the way across the street without looking up. Oncoming auto traffic reduces this likelihood significantly, but disturbingly, not completely.

If you learn the traffic pattern of your route, you can reduce your concern primarily to red light runners.

Don't take away my fast-walker lanes on Sixth and on Broadway!

I'm more of a Car Talk "Puzzler" type of guy.

"If you think you know the answer, write it on the back of your classified one time pad key and send it to: NSA, Box 35 Fort Meade (our fair city) Maryland".

"I can only sell you the car for 20k. That includes the car-salesman-markup-ripoff tax." "Hmm, sounds like a puzzle solved."

risky business. losing or damaging clothes turns a customer quickly. having just gone through it this morning with flycleaners (2nd offense), there are plenty of broken hearted potential customers out there looking for the right solution.

Hi.

To some degree it can't be helped. Accidents will happen, but I firmly believe that the right response to this is to minimise the chances, and delight with customer service.

Make sure it happens as infrequently as possible, and when it does happen make sure compensate the user accordingly.

As I say, accidents will happen, but they shouldn't happen twice to the same person, and that person should be amazed as to how far you will go above and beyond to set things right.

...also...being insured is important. Like Prim.

the wakemate went through a similar cycle.

I don't really think wakemate ever had any actual business.

They had an overhyped alpha phase that never really got to a beta. Then they sold that alpha and everything, from the almost laughable unit itself to the broken website interface to the constantly failing android app, was desperately undertested and destined to fail.

Sorry about the rant. Still kinda bummed out over the $70 bucks I lost on this.
