OpenBSD 6.0 CD Set – Limited Edition signed by 40 developers (ebay.com)

If this makes bidding that easy to happen, as of now 6 bidders at $800+, why don't they do this for fund raising for each release? Maybe they have to sell 100 to make much of a difference but still better than nothing and gives you a warm feeling that they have generous followers as well.

This attracts attention because it is the last physical CD release.

Although that's true it's still a legitimate question because this appears to be raising far more than a traditional CD sale.

It's too bad the OpenBSD guys didn't discover this long ago. I buy a CD set almost every release just to support the project and would have gone for a small premium for a signed edition.

The artwork reminds me of Gerald Scarfe...o.k. well actually it reminded me of The Wall and wikipedia made me twice as smart as I really am.

Nice cover art.

It's available as a poster from the store:

Odd that it's 2016 and eBay isn't using https.

That's a pretty cool idea.
