True, but, to be fair, a parking lot filled with cars for sale is only marginally worse than a giant parking lot filled with cars sitting there unused most hours of the day — and we have far more of the latter wasting our valuable land.


What else would you do with it?


How about a park? Or more residential housing? Office buildings?

Can't wait till we can replace our petroleum vehicle economy and it's superfund sites (i.e., any former gas station).


In my town, you'd build houses on it. The vacancy rate is under 0% and small, dingy houses sell for about $600,000.
