Perhaps Apple has a slight bit of self reflection and just realises that after the catastrophe that was Apple Maps that they'd be no good at making a search engine?

They have no in-house expertise and the small scale search products they do make are very, very bad.



Apple Maps is world class and better than Google maps in many ways now.

If Apple learned from their launch of Maps it should be to wait until it’s ready. Of course Google didn’t give them a choice in the case of Maps.


I mean apart from the fact it doesn't know where anything is sure.


This is completely false. It might have been true at launch but isn’t now.
