Utility is perceived by those that find something useful. I’m not a crypto user, but enough people find it useful that I don’t deny it’s utility to someone else. It requires a special kind of arrogance to deny the utility someone else perceives, and those arrogant folks are usually blindsided when that utility becomes broadly perceived.
