How can a revolution and the ousting of a president not be a coup?

Coup: a sudden, violent, and unlawful seizure of power from a government.

Revolution: a forcible overthrow of a government or social order, in favour of a new system.

What is the difference? According to the article, calling it a "state coup" is "concerning signals".

Seems very one-sided and reads as propaganda to me.
