Why StackOverflow usage is down 50% (latent.space)

My take: ChatGPT doesn't tell me I'm stupid for asking a question, link an unrelated question and state my question is a duplicate, and then threaten to close my account for supposedly not being able to ask a question properly.

Gee, this wasn't foreseeable at all.

I recently made a little project and solely used ChatGPT plus cross-referencing between docs, articles, and other projects and I would do it again in a heartbeat over ever having the gall to ask a question on StackOverflow again.
