Hey HN! I'm excited to share about Thrive, an open-source Discord and Telegram bot designed to handle community requests, reports, and answer frequent questions. Think of it as your community concierge aid. Managing community requests can be overwhelming when the same issues and questions routinely need handling. Thrive simplifies this by tracking bugs, to-do lists, feature requests, release info, event coordination, and more. It's a smart companion that requires no configuration and is programmable by moderators.

Thrive is written in TypeScript, runs on Bun, and integrates with Discord and Telegram. It uses PostgreSQL via Supabase and Fly.io for hosting. <3

Our small Midwest team built Thrive to make social coordination fun and effortless. Initially for internal use, we realized its broader potential and decided to open-source it. We’re excited to share it and see how it can help your community thrive!
