Win32 API existed on MIPS machines back when Windows NT was ported over to MIPS. I'm not asking for x86 compatibility, I'm just asking for a way for Chrome / Firefox to be cross-compiled onto the SurfaceRT. Win32 API is the only real reason why people use Windows. Take that away, and you've got... well... SurfaceRT.

Yep. You literally need devs to be able to push a button in Visual Studio and their app is RT-ready. Or you don't have apps.
