Yeah, I noticed Google interviewers are no longer showing enthusiasm during the interview, it's a very worrying sign.

It took a while for me to be able to articulate it, but that was what bothered me about my interview. The recruiter was all positivity, but the first real person who interviewed me seemed like he hated his job. It was the biggest turn-off.

Same here. On one screening the guy actually said "it is not like how you imagine it to be". And it did not sound as an encouragement.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just start a rumor that you like interviewees that are showing their enthusiasm a lot. They would start showing it.
